Tissuemed is at the forefront in the research, development, design and manufacture of products utilising adhesive polymer technology for medical applications. Our capability lies in researching, developing and manufacturing adhesive biomaterials, substances that will adhere to the internal surfaces and structures of the body and as such act on those structures to support them, prevent them leaking, prevent them adhering to each other or even conceivably deliver therapeutic agents to them.
Tissuemed’s R&D group consists of a dedicated group of PhD and graduate chemists and polymer scientists with many years’ experience in academia and industry. As a small yet highly progressive company Tissuemed relies heavily on innovation and scientific expertise which has been totally focused for much of the past decade on developing synthetic, absorbable adhesive polymers for surgical applications. Tissuemed can also call on a broad portfolio of experience from associated individuals outside the company, whether this be technical, IP, regulatory/clinical, physical/biochemical testing, sales and marketing.
